STOCK MARKET

Dow Jones ended at $41,622.08 (+0.55%)

S&P 500 ended at $5,633.09 (+0.13%)

Nasdaq Composite ended at $17,592.13 (-0.52%)

The stock market began the week with mixed performances as investors continue awaiting the Federal Reserve’s highly anticipated policy meeting where central bankers are expected to cut rates for the first time since 2020. The S&P 500 was little changed, inching closer to a record high, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average reached an all-time high as the financial and energy sectors outperformed, while the information technology sector saw losses. Meanwhile, the Nasdaq Composite fell as tech stocks like Apple and chip stocks like Nvidia saw declines as investors took profits from recent gains.

CRYPTO MARKET

Bitcoin fell by 2.13% for the day, with a value of $57,951.42 as of 3:00 PM CST, as stated by Coin Metrics.
