STOCK MARKET

Dow Jones ended at $42,141.54 (-0.22%)

S&P 500 ended at $5,813.67 (-0.33%)

Nasdaq Composite ended at $18,607.93 (-0.56%)

The stock market experienced losses across all major indexes due to a combination of disappointing earnings reports, particularly in the semiconductor sector with chipmaker AMD and Super Micro Computer, as well as mixed economic data. While Alphabet performed well and exceeded expectations, the overall sentiment was dampened by weaker-than-expected GDP growth in the third quarter. Additionally, uncertainty surrounding the upcoming U.S. Presidential election added to investor caution and led to a decline in stock prices across the board. Consequently, the Dow Jones Industrial Average, the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq Composite all fell.

CRYPTO MARKET

Bitcoin fell by 1.43% for the day, with a value of $71,793.70 as of 3:00 PM CST, as stated by Coin Metrics.
