STOCK MARKET

Dow Jones ended at $44,293.13 (+0.69%)

S&P 500 ended at $6,001.35 (+0.10%)

Nasdaq Composite ended at $19,298.76 (+0.06%)

The stock market has started off the week on a positive note because the Dow Jones Industrial Average and the S&P 500 closed at a record high. This was fueled by post-election optimism and enthusiasm surrounding former President Donald Trump’s potential return to power. Additionally, strong performances from financial stocks like JPMorgan Chase and Goldman Sachs helped boost the market. Moreover, although there were some losses in technology stocks, overall investor sentiment remains bullish, and as a result of this, the Nasdaq Composite also joined the upward trend.

CRYPTO MARKET

Bitcoin rose by 10.5% for the day, with a value of $86,267.77 as of 3:00 PM CST, as stated by Coin Metrics.
