STOCK MARKET

Dow Jones ended at $38,714.77 (-0.49%)

S&P 500 ended at $5,117.09 (-0.65%)

Nasdaq Composite ended at $15,973.16 (-0.96%)

The stock market ended the week with losses across all major indexes, primarily driven by concerns about inflation and the upcoming Federal Reserve policy meeting. As a result, the Dow Jones Industrial Average, the S&P 500, and Nasdaq Composite all experiencing declines, with technology stocks being the most affected. In addition, the drop in the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq was also influenced by weaker performances from tech giants like Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, and Alphabet, although Nvidia managed to show some positive movement. Moreover, investors remain cautios, with some suggesting that the Fed might consider raising long-term borrowing rates if economic data continued to strengthen.

Bitcoin fell by 0.53% for the day, with a value of $68,969.53 as of 3:00 PM CST, as stated by Coin Metrics.
