STOCK MARKET

Dow Jones ended at $34,053.87 (-0.72%)

S&P 500 ended at $4,388.71 (-0.47%)

Nasdaq Composite ended at $13,667.29 (-0.16%)

The stock market experienced a setback across all major indexes during the first trading day, marking the second consecutive day of losses. Despite last week’s rallies that had pushed the market to levels not seen in over a year, the Dow Jones Industrial Average, the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq Composite all decreased, with the Dow Jones leading the downward trend due to the fall in shares of Intel, Nike and Boeing.

CRYPTO MARKET

Bitcoin rose by 5.16% with a value of $28,013.13 as of 3:00 PM CST, as stated by Coin Metrics.
