STOCK MARKET

Dow Jones ended at $33,979.33 (-0.68%)

S&P 500 ended at $4,372.59 (+0.08%)

Nasdaq Composite ended at $13,626.48 (+0.39%)

The stock market experienced mixed performances as the Federal Reserve announced that it has paused its rate hikes, but indicated that rates could still be raised two more times later this year. Consequently, the S&P 500 increased briefly reaching its highest level since April 2022, while the Nasdaq Composite increased due to gains made by Nvidia and AMD. On the other hand, the Dow Jones Industrial Average decreased due to losses experienced by UnitedHealth.

CRYPTO MARKET

Bitcoin fell by 0.10% with a value of $25,860.30 as of 3:00 PM CST, as stated by Coin Metrics.
