STOCK MARKET

Dow Jones ended at $39,069.23 (-0.16%)

S&P 500 ended at $5,069.53 (-0.38%)

Nasdaq Composite ended at $15,976.25 (-0.13%)

The stock market began the week with losses across all major indexes as investors await the upcoming release of inflation data. Currently, there is uncertainty surrounding economic and inflation risks, and although the previous sentiment towards stocks was positive, there are concerns there is now concern about the sustainability of the recent rally. Consequently, the S&P 500, the Dow Jones Industrial Average, and the Nasdaq Composite all saw declines. Moreover, all three indexes also fell due to the decline in Amazon’s stock.

CRYPTO MARKET

Bitcoin rose by 5.24% for the day, with a value of $54,513.84 as of 3:00 PM CST, as stated by Coin Metrics.
