Nasdaq Composite ended at $14,432.49 (+0.29%)

The stock market saw gains across all major indexes as the S&P 500, the Nasdaq Composite, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose, reflecting the ongoing momentum from the end of the year on Wall Street. Investors are focusing on upcoming inflation data, which could impact market movements and the Federal Reserve’s interest rate policies. Additionally, the Federal Reserve’s two-day meeting is expected to influence market sentiment. Moreover, Macy’s receiving a buyout offer resulted in a significant increase in their share prices, but tech stocks Apple and Nvidia saw declines, impacting the Nasdaq, nonetheless, the index still managed to join the positive trend.
