The stock market began the week with mixed performances as the Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at a record high, while the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq Composite fell due to concerns in the technology sector about upcoming earnings reports, particularly from Nvidia. Traders were rotating out of tech and into other areas of the market, causing the S&P 500 and Nasdaq to slip slightly. Nevertheless, despite the losses reported by these two indexes, it is worth noting that following the comments from Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell, which indicated potential interest rate cut, investor confidence has been boosted and that currently, the market is in a healthy place.
