STOCK MARKET

Dow Jones ended at $38,883.67 (-0.02%)

S&P 500 ended at $5,209.91 (+0.14%)

Nasdaq Composite ended at $16,306.64 (+0.32%)

The stock market ended with mixed results because investors were uncertain about the release of key U.S. inflation data and the potential impact on the Federal Reserve’s decision to cut rates. As a result, the Dow Jones Industrial Average decreased for a second day in a row. Additionally, with Tax Day approaching, some investors may have been selling assets to pay taxes, adding to the volatility in the market. Moreover, Mega-cap tech companies like Nvidia, Meta, and Netflix also experienced declines. Nevertheless, despite these events the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq Composite managed to record slight gains.

CRYPTO MARKET

Bitcoin fell by 3.95% for the day, with a value of $68,946.47 as of 3:00 PM CST, as stated by Coin Metrics.
