MARKET RECAP – APRIL 6, 2023

STOCK MARKET

Dow Jones ended at $33,485.29 (+0.01%)

S&P 500 ended at $4,105.02 (+0.36%)

Nasdaq Composite ended at $12,087.96 (+0.76%)

The stock market showed signs of recovery mainly due to gains in the tech sector. The S&P 500 initially fell but managed to end the day with a modest increase. The Nasdaq Composite had a better performance than the other indexes as it saw significant gains. And although the Dow Jones Industrial suffered a significant loss at the beginning of the trading, it managed to stabilize and ended up trading at almost the same level where it started.

CRYPTO MARKET

Bitcoin fell by 0.73% with a value of $28,023.88 as of 3:00 PM CST, as stated by Coin Metrics.
