STOCK MARKET

Dow Jones ended at $33,886.47 (-0.42%)

S&P 500 ended at $4,137.64 (-0.21%)

Nasdaq Composite ended at $12,123.47 (-0.35%)

The stock market saw declines on all major indexes. The Dow Jones Industrial Average experienced a drop while still expected to have a positive week overall. This was due to investors taking into account a report of weaker retail sales, which reduced the excitement over a positive start to corporate earnings. In addition to the Dow, the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite also experienced slight declines.

CRYPTO MARKET

Bitcoin fell by 0.20% with a value of $30,322.43 as of 3:00 PM CST, as stated by Coin Metrics.
