STOCK MARKET

Dow Jones ended at $33,727.43 (-0.65%)

S&P 500 ended at $4,348.33 (-0.77%)

Nasdaq Composite ended at $13,492.52 (-1.01%)

The stock market ended the week with losses across all major indexes due to renewed concerns of a global and U.S. recession, as well as high inflation levels and worries about the Federal Reserve policy. As a result, the S&P 500 decreased with over 460 stocks trading negatively. In addition, the Nasdaq Composite decreased, posting its worst weekly performance since March. The Dow Jones Industrial Average also followed the downward trend due to concerns about Goldman Sachs’ potential write-down for its acquisition of fintech firm GreenSky.

CRYPTO MARKET

Bitcoin rose by 2.45% with a value of $30,884.65 as of 3:00 PM CST, as stated by Coin Metrics.
