STOCK MARKET

Dow Jones ended at $38,712.21 (-0.09%)

S&P 500 ended at $5,421.03 (+0.85%)

Nasdaq Composite ended at $17,608.44 (+1.53%)

The stock market has experienced mixed performances, mirroring yesterday’s performance as the the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq Composite closed at all-time high records one more time, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell for a second day in a row. The Fed’s note on progress in inflation and the lower-than-expected inflation numbers for May initially boosted market sentiment, however, the central bank has kept rates unchanged and projected of only one rate cut for the year – down from prior expectations, introducing uncertainty.

CRYPTO MARKET

Bitcoin rose by 0.39% for the day, with a value of $67,584.81 as of 3:00 PM CST, as stated by Coin Metrics.
